Potato Product Manager (m/f), France

We are seeking a commercially competent and sales oriented personality with agronomical background to support the seed potato business of our client, located in France.

Our client is offering a permanent position on a full-time basis at the earliest opportunity. While it is a stand-alone position in a first step, the successful candidate will have the chance to manage in a second step a small team to serve all demands of stakeholders in the French seed potato market.

General tasks and objectives

• Develop and ensure sales of potato varieties tothe various client groups (processing industry / farmers / retailers) in the French market according to defined targets
• Efficiently manage on going potato business and develop concepts for its future growth
• Represent the company inpotato-specific organizations and keep relations with important stakeholders
• Manage the seed potato multiplication in line with the global production strategy
• Take care of variety introduction, trials, registration and official documentation
• Manage other aspects of technical and logistical activities

Profile

• Agricultural engineer or comparable education or professional experience
• Experience in a similar role with in the potato supply chain
• Strong communication and organization skills
• Strong ability to connect and collaborate with other entities in the group
• Strong initiative/drive and openness to change
• Good command of English
• Willingness to travel
