Missions

• Ensuring plant safety and availability of the institute's technology, including building technology
• Responsibility (technology, budget, schedule, compliance) für planning and execution of maintenance
• Planning and implementation of all maintenance measures and turnarounds including budgeting and cost control
• Initialization and coordination of investment and maintenance projects (up to approx. € 1 mio) from planning to commissioning and support planning
• of larger projects
• Identification and implementation of improvement opportunities, e.g. in terms of process and process engineering, environmental compatibility and safety
• Development of technical concepts and their implementation
• Ensuring that the documentation is up to date and identify knowledge and "good practice"

Profile

• University degree (Dipl.-Ing., BSc or MSc) in "Versorgungstechnik" (HVAC-/Plumbing Engineering)
• Several years of experience in the maintenance of plants and buildings as well as several years of experience in the operation of laboratory
• buildings and greenhouses, incl. knowledge relevant laws and regulations
• Knowledge in the creation of HAZOPs and FMEAs in the area of system technology, systematic and reliable operation
• Responsible handling of the entrusted plants and buildings
• Initiative and decision making as well as persuasiveness and assertiveness
• Good knowledge of MS Office and engineering software (e.g. CAE, CAD, SAP / PM, SAP / MM)
• Excellent communication, team and cooperation skills
• Very Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken
