Tasks

  • To analyse damage reports and design relevant repair solutions in a multinational and multiskills environment.
  • Ensuring the A/C safety and airworthiness reporting all unsafe condition,
  • Delivering repair instructions in accordance with the relevant certification/airworthiness requirements and Airbus process and methods.
  • Coordinating proposed repair solution at A/C physical interfaces with other engineering actors and considering the implications of Airworthiness regulations, Materials and Processes, Aerodynamic effects and any other function as required,
  • Delivering generic solutions to be used internally or for Customer Services for damages/requests that can be anticipated,
  • Promoting and supporting continuous improvement and innovations initiatives of the Daily Repairs organisation through selected projects, providing added value to the A/C operator.

Profile

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

  • Educated to an Engineering Degree or equivalent with relevant experience in an engineering environment,
  • You are skilled in stress for composite structures
  • Experience in aircraft structures Design, Methods & Principles is mandatory (knowledge of Fuselage structures ATA 52/53/57-1),
  • Understanding of Stress and Airworthiness requirements when designing aircraft structure,
  • Knowledge of Customer Operations, product Integrity / Liability and maintenance operation would be appreciated,
  • Knowledge of the following tools: ISAMI and associated methods, and of the following manuals: SRM, ASR, NTM, MPD
  • Ability to translate customer requirements into operational deliverables and to prioritise,
  • Ability to perform in a high pressure reactive environment and to quickly make decisions,
  • Ability to interface with others and discuss technical matters clearly and simply,
  • Good communication skills in both English and French: ease at interacting in a multifunctional environment
