Missions
- Manage Ops & IT budget and ensure proper tacking track impact of Allianz Trade IT transformation
- Control AZ Technology billing and appropriate realization of Gearshift business case with the support of Allianz Trade IT retained Org
- Manage financial reporting on Ops & IT scope towards Allianz Trade management and Allianz SE Finance (H2) and Ops & IT (H4) teams
- It reports to the head of Transformation & Performance management within Group Finance.
Group Ops & IT Controlling includes four areas:
Ops&IT Budget:
- Manage budget process & communication towards Group & Regional stakeholders
- Ensure alignment with AZ SE and AZ Tech budgeting process & timeline
- Manage budget data gathering, consolidation & validation
- Contribute to Allianz Trade Ops & IT budget validation (CIO & COO sign-off and Corporate RBR for Ops&IT)
- Ensure that AZ Trade Ops & IT budget is properly reflected on time in AZ Group IT Reporting (ITR) and aligned with AZ Technology submission
- Contribute to Productivity Dialog and Planning Dialog
AZ Tech budget controlling:
- Ensure proper billing and reporting are delivered by AZ Technology to ensure tracking of AZ Trade Ops & IT financials – including IT Transformation business case
- Billing controlling (including true-up) & overdues monitoring in alignment with AZ Trade IT Retained Org
- Gearshift contract business case tracking
- Lead with AZ Tech finance team the Gearshift contract financial governance and contribute to overall governance (Account review, ITSB)
Reporting & controlling:
- Manage closing & accruals (Group) and consolidation of Regional closing financials and report to the budget owners
- Manage P&L Analysis (budget-forecast-actuals) and prepare reporting for Allianz Trade CIO & COO and BOM
- Ensure proper tracking of budget transfer
- Manage quarterly AZ Group IT Reporting (ITR) and contribute to AZ Group IT Dashboard (GITD)
- Maintain AZ Rolling Forecast (RFC) in alignment with AZ Trade IT retained org and monitor decommissioning savings (IT Transformation business case)
Controlling & Support:
- Maintain and improve finance processes, taking into account the impact of Gearshift
- Maintain finance tools (PPM, IT4U, cost centers structure, budget transfer tool)
- User support of financial tools & AZ connect team site maintenance
- Maintain reporting pack for service owners and communication & training
- The Ops & IT Controlling manger has to ensure that all team members deliver on their yearly objectives and support the overall Allianz Trade strategy.
A critical aspect of the Ops & IT Controlling manager is to ensure close cooperation with IT Retained Org & Supporting controlling functions at Group and Regional level and AZ Technology Finance team. Specifically he/she will act as financial controlling business partner dedicated to Ops & IT.
Profile
Key experience required
- At least 10 years of professional experience in similar position
- Strong IT controlling skills
- Strong reporting skills
- Ability to challenge experienced budget owners
- Experience of management of large IT outsourcing provider
