Key tasks & responsibilities
- Responsible for COGS estimated calculation for innovation projects with new business models and for new products.
- Define a global methodology and ensure accurate calculation of Industrial Business Cases in order to support the Supply Chain.
- Innovation and Marketing Business choices.
- Responsible for the global Discovery Capex Investments Management in respect of Investment Innovation and Accounting Handbooks.
- Review the Business cases with project managers to ensure project viability.
- Manage Investment evaluations, planning, reviews.
- Organize and prepare the Capex Committee to support the Leadership team for decision.
- Ensure the right Financial and Accounting Investment data reliability (audit accurate).
- Provide to Discovery Global Supply Chain and Innovation, Business,
- Facility Management the appropriate information in a timely manner to steer the business, by ensuring the availability of new COGS and CAPEX information, warning on issues and support on action plans.
- Master world-wide Capex consistency and transparency, by analyzing monthly results for the Discovery compared to budget, forecast and previous year.
- Organize/ contribute to the Discovery Budget and Forecast process for Capex by supporting defining rules.
- Provide relevant KPI’s and information to support Working Capital financial information.
Qualifications & competencies
- Engineer degree, master's degree in finance
- At least 5 to 10 years' experience in industrial costing /controlling and investment Management.
- Fluent in English.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, pro active, ability to work within a complex multicultural environment.
- Has worked in international roles before Excellent analytical skills as well as ability to solve problems and to simplify complex tasks.
- Affinity to Controlling systems, ERP’s, Datalake/ Datawarehouse.
