Missions
- You strongly contribute to the development and implementation of a global medical education strategy, while taking on leadership on specific projects to drive them to full implementation.
- You are responsible for the development of a comprehensive and advanced education program to support substantially the effective and safe product use globally, and to inform on recent research results and publications relevant for the aesthetic business. The global education program includes independent CME programs, social learning programs as well as on demand and microlearning programs.
- The development and execution of a content curation strategy in close collaboration with Regional stakeholders is key for a successful implementation and education via the global medical education platform.
- You maintain and evaluate relevant medical literature incl. competitor publications in close collaboration with global scientific communication to ensure successful use, to identify new education needs and trends, to extract content relevant for aesthetic education and to unveil contemporary competitor's activities.
- You evaluate scientific data in close collaboration with strategic research, clinical development, and medical information to identify and address relevant medical/education needs of clinical practice and to support the optimal use of the Merz Aesthetics portfolio world-wide.
- You interact, engage and lead peer-to-peer discussions with thought leaders and customers to gain insights, get advice and ensure clinical evidence and market relevance is met.
- You follow internal compliance rules to ensure a compliantly working division, quality of content is given and continuously proved regarding clinical evidence and correctness to ensure credible and first-class materials.
Profile
- You hold a degree in natural science or human medicine, preferably in dermatology.
- You have previous experience in a corporate environment (devices and/or drug pharma), a minimum of 5 years experience in medical affairs as well as the knowledge of drug development and related regulatory requirements.
- You are experienced with commercialized and in development drug/device operations.
- You are fluent in English, written and spoken, with strong communication, networking and teamworking skills.
- Further languages including French or Spanish are appreciated.
- You have the ability to understand scientific and medical data and translate it into non-scientific language and are passionate about digital education solutions.
- You have a demonstrated ability to work in a cross-functional, global team environment (international multi-cultural).
- You have sound knowledge in clinical studies, preferably in aesthetics.
