Duration: 6 months
The department Design Office is responsible for the design & layout of civil launcher
systems, spacecraft's and the corresponding components for manned and unmanned spaceflight.
The activities contain the conceptual design in pre-development phases, detailed 3D design and the
preparation of the manufacturing and integration documentation as well as the treatment of design
changes and their documentation.
Your exciting tasks:
- Supporting concept studies for the Ariane 6 project
- 3D design & layout in CATIA V5
- Creating and managing parts in the data management system 3DCOM
- Establishing manufacturing drawings and integration documentation
- Establishing and maintaining bill of materials in SAP
- Required skills
You offer
- Enrolled student within Aerospace/General Engineering or similar field of study
- Very good knowledge in the field of mechanical and design engineering
- Good knowledge in the work with 3D CAD tools (CATIA V5 or similar)
- Data management systems (3DCOM, VPM, Primes or similar) are desirable
- Ability to work independent with good communication and team player skills
- Highly motivated with general knowledge in aeronautics engineering
- German: fluent
- English: fluent
- You are a good team player, have excellent communication skills, and are able to work independently.
