The design, analysis and testing of earth observation, science or exploration missions, including components, instruments or complete systems, always results in exciting tasks for students.

Profile

  • Enrolled full-time student (d/f/m) in the area of mechanical & aerospace engineering; automation engineering; physics studies; computer science or an equivalent field of study.
  • Fluent in English and German knowledge would be beneficial.
  • Basic thermodynamic and programming knowledge (C++, Python, …) is helpful for working on the following example topics:
  • literature research
  • support of Phase-0/Phase-A studies
  • thermal system modelling and analysis
  • Hypersonic Flow Dynamics
  • CFD analyses
  • FEM analysis
  • further development of preand post-processing tools
  • planning and implementation of thermal tests
