What part will you play?
As Internal Communications Specialist you are a key member of the Global Communications Team and you are responsible for multiple global projects that help connect employees to Siemens and enable them to work towards achieving Siemens strategic topics, projects and initiatives:
- You are responsible for the planning, development and execution of employee communications programs that support strategic topics, projects and initiatives
- You work in concert with CC teams to deliver effective communications programming for internal customers which may be based in functions, businesses or geographies
- You support the global community building and enablement for internal communications
- You collaborate with colleagues within the Content and Newsroom team and across the Communications department to ensure coordination and flawless execution
- You determine messaging and develop content for communications channels, including video formats, SSN posts and live reporting, dialogue events, SiemensWorld articles, internal blogs, etc.
- You ensure that projects run smoothly, efficiently and deliver desired outcomes to internal clients
What you need to make real what matters
- You think strategically, are solution-oriented, have a can-do attitude, a collaborative mindset and exceptional communication skills
- You have experience in managing international cross-functional projects and small, project-related teams, and are confident in working with executives and know how to align interests of various stakeholders to build consensus
- You are an expert in social media and internal influencer management and have a strong network on SSN
- You are creative and thrive on figuring out new ways to engage employees and help them understand and connect to a company’s overarching strategic mission
- You use digital tools effectively and with ease; know how, what and when to use in his/her work to bring impact and efficiency
- At least 3-5 years of professional experience in employee communication and/ or communication strategy is relevant in addition to a degree in communication sciences, journalism or equivalent
- Fluency in English is a must and, preferably, you have solid written and spoken German skills
