Philosophy: film music triggers emotions and tells the story. It simply has the power to turn a good film into a masterpiece! A good soundtrack can also reinforce the film's communication, generate a buzz effect and help the film achieve success!

The Company: Just Temptation Limited is a pan-European Screen Music Company registered in the UK with headquarters in Berlin. Its core business is "film music". It is providing music services (financing for original soundtracks, music supervision, soundtrack-based marketing) for the creative industries (films, TV, video games, cross-platform content).

Team: the company is led by Thierry Baujard, CEO of peacefulfish (film financing consultancy), chairman of Media Deals (European Media Investment Network) and former head of strategic development for the Studio Babelsberg in Potsdam; and Vincent Favrat, current music supervisor and business developer and former co-director of the Jazz Onze+ Festival and press manager for the Montreux Jazz Festival.

Tasks

The intern will work in the following area of activities:

• clients database development and update 
• contracts for film music financing
• music synchronization (client acquisition, emailing, communications)
• rights clearance 
• composer representation assistance
• exclusive content producing assistance
• digital marketing, social media management, distribution, and broadcasting on media 
• assistant for press work in music - and soundtracks - related media 
• strategic research 
• Event & workshops organization assistance

Description of the internship

The intern will assist the directors in developing the client databases, notably in the sectors of TV, Video Games, Advertisement and Cross-platforms. He will help track some of Europe's most interesting productions and sell products and services to the film producers and directors of the company's dedicated network (12'000 clients). Finally he/she will also work on digital promotion campaigns.

Profile researched

We are seeking an outstanding individual to join our small and dynamic team to assist in progressing our operations in Berlin. The profile researched would ideally include some of the following elements:

• Studies/Education: music business, film business, creative industries business, communication, law specialised in intellectual property, new media econonics
• Specialist field: music publishing, synchronization agency, digital marketing, community manager
• Assessable experience: networks and database building in synchronization, artists management, booking agent assistant, talent agency assistant, synchronization agency assistant, film production assistant
• Skills: reliable, good organisational skills, proactive, objective-oriented, ability to work independently, experience in client-facing communication, able to develop positive partner relationships, good written and verbal communication skills
• Languages: fluent in English and German, preferably a third European language

Conditions

• Location: The berliner office is located at Derfflingerstr. 18, 10785 Berlin (Tiergarten)
• Duration: 6 months starting from the 1st October 2012
• Remuneration: 300 € per month
