Tasks
As part of the dedicated team for Infrastructure Solutions you will be exposed to the emerging solutions like - but not limited to - Cloud, Augmented and Virtual Reality, Consumer Electronics or Cybersecurity Solutions and thus to carry out:
- Constant market screening & assessment of emerging digital start-ups, potential newcomers to identify digital breakthrough's for AIRBUS
- Definition of a successful worldwide sourcing strategy for the complex digital product portfolio, as sound basis for decision making,
- Stringent Supplier selection, building solid high performing contracts
- Guarantee "end-to-end" contract management & business value outcome
- Actively managing the supplier relationship, in order to achieve optimization and leverage further potential for innovation
- Continuous Risk management activities to protect Airbus
- Best practice exchanges with your peers
- This role will involve some travels (2 by month) in Munich, Marignane, Madrid, Hamburg and Filton for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.
Required skills
- Educated to Bac+5 level (or equivalent) in Business or a related discipline.
- Proven experience within procurement or sales
- Broad experience in at least one of the digital capabilities: Cloud, Augmented and Virtual Reality, Consumer Electronics or Cybersecurity Solutions
- Excellent knowledge about Procurement contracting and legal advice
- Demonstrated track record of end-to-end procurement negotiations or sales activities in the above fields on international level
- Ability to communicate effectively, understand contracts, evolving data privacy/protection laws and intellectual property
- Possess a strong professional network within domain of expertise, including academics, industrial players, consultants, entrepreneurs, etc.
- Demonstrated ability to reason rigorously about technology or business models at varying levels of abstraction
- Excellent project leadership skills, to motivate multi-functions teams in situations of often conflicting objectives
- Teamwork and transparency

- Customer focused and solution oriented, while putting AIRBUS overall interest first

- English: Advanced
