  Tasks
Your main tasks will be:
- Conducting studies of new information technologies that could come into use within the next 5 to 10 years, based on market studies, direct interaction with software and hardware vendors, as well as specialised consulting firms
 - Producing requirements analyses, in conjunction with the specialist departments, with the aim of identifying and applying innovative solutions.
 - Constructing a Eurocopter- and EADS-wide network on the theme of new information technologies, with the goal of initiating a specific exchange for the development and implementation of new systems, together with the necessary competencies
 - Developing a strategic plan for the use of new technologies for application including cost-benefit analyses and core-competency analyses. This produces an operational project plan for proof of concepts (feasibility study), selecting appropriate applications, and cost evaluation
 - Developing, implementing and managing a process for the analysis of obsolete applications and a plan for their withdrawal
 - The post holder (m/f) manages two of the total of 11 chapters of the Information Management (IM) Master Plan:
 - "Application Backbone": concerning the withdrawal of obsolete systems and applications, and the introduction of new products
 - In coordination with the "Architect IT Infrastructure," the introduction of new servers, network and administrative structures
 
Profile
You have the following skills and qualifications:
- Degree in the field of computer science, information management or equivalent
 - Very good understanding and in-depth knowledge of current and future IM technologies and products
 - Good knowledge (development and application) of Eurocopter's primary IT applications (SAP, Windchill, Siebel, etc.)
 - Experience with business processes and systems architecture
 - Good communication skills, including with those higher up in the company hierarchy
 - Willingness to travel on business trips
 - International experience desirable
 - English: advanced knowledge
 - Knowledge of French, German or Spanish preferable in addition
