Head of Logistics DACH (m/f/d), Munich

Your Mission

• Manage and improve quality, safety, security, cost & service delivery for logistics services
• Contract management with logistics service providers and continuously improve the logistics suppliers performance in cooperation with Procurement department
• Manage daily operations with 3PL providers in DACH
• Responsible for the forecasting of the logistics budget and control of the expenses in collaboration with Finance and Controlling
• Drive continuous process improvement within logistics from supply point to customers’ ship-to-locations
• Lead cost-saving projects in collaboration with other functions, customers and Supply Points
• Coordination of the DACH Supply Chain functions to ensure efficient operations
• Lead a team of 6 people across two sites in Germany

Your Profile

• University Degree with focus on Supply Chain or Logistics as advantage
• At least 5 years of work experience in Supply Chain/ Logistics, ideally in FMCG industry
• Experience of working with 3PL’s in an operational management role and excellent experience on the German logistics market
• Strong project management skills
• Inspirational leader able to build impactful relationships
• Pro-actively anticipating risks and find solutions
• Flexibility, mobility and willingness to travel frequently (30%)
• Very good communication skills in English and German
