Tasks
- Leadership of a 9 person strong international team on different sites (Toulouse, Friedrichshafen, Guilford) ensuring co-ordination between team members; assigning resources to priorities
- Support synergies between product lines and optic and radar integration incl. Unified Ordering; optimize exploitation of assets and major marketing interface towards operations and technical teams
- Drive product line roadmaps, define overall strategy based on product lifecycles, KPI Target Metrics, market trends and competition
- Ensure competitive & compelling offers and meeting of customer requirements; enable OP and EBIT targets,
Driving Imagery product growth, prioritize product offers supporting sales campaigns, developing new marketing-led campaigns, and defining a 'campaign plan':
- in collaboration with the Campaign Manager, Industry Managers, Sales Coordination and Operational teams, Channel & Regional Marketing Managers
- in line with the OP and Business region priorities using customer and market insight to define product line priorities, potential development opportunities and revenue forecasts
Support delivery of business cases (new) and business case reviews (existing) for products, ensuring that the delivery and functionality are focused on key customer requirements and ROI
Be a Product Management Expert to promote internal stakeholders. This includes transferring direct knowledge to sales teams within the GEO business areas and being a point of contact for Product Marketing requests,
Ensure clear communication between Product Managers and Operational Marketing team
Working with Innovations and R&D to develop long-term game changers for the product lines
Leadership and contribution to the digitalization of the Imagery portfolio
External ambassador for the Intelligence portfolio at Customer and Industry events
Senior leader within the Marketing team and key member of Marketing Leadership team, working closely with team leaders for Operational Marketing, Channel & Regional Marketing and Industry and Solution Marketing
Reporting to the Head of Marketing with objectives, ensuring the product line offers, and supporting OP and company strategy.
This role will involve frequent travel for team leadership and business activities and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.
Required skills
- Several years of experience in Product Management, Marketing or Sales
- Engineering or Business / Marketing degree (or equivalent); Experience of Team Management & Coordination and facilitating team work
- Experience of working within and leading international teams
- Demonstrated success defining and launching innovative and competitive products
- Excellent presentational, written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
- Fluent written and oral English language skills. A second language (e.g.: French, German) is an asset.
