Group Head of Accounting (M/F) English, Lyon

Role

• You are responsible for the tax compliance of French, German and Spanish subsidiaries from an accounting perspective
• You manage and supervise accounting department daily operations
• You monitor and analyse accounting data and produce financial reports
• You manage the European accounting team located in each subsidiary
• You are responsible for accuracy and meeting deadlines in accounting tasks
• You are responsible for cash flow management and forecasting, as well as budget preparation, sales cost forecasting, administrative spending and other general costs
• You are responsible for direct and indirect tax compliance for all entities
• You develop and apply appropriate accounting methods, policies and principles

Profile

• You have a DESCF, DSCG or MCCA type accounting qualification or equivalent experience
• You have a minimum of 6 years’ experience, including in Audit. Experience in an English-speaking company would be an advantage.
• You have strong technical skills in accounting and tax
• You have excellent management and analysis skills
• You speak English fluently. German and Spanish would be an advantage.
• You are able to work under stress and are used to working with deadlines
