Mission
- Lead the development and implementation of the global Warehousing and Logistics Strategy that optimizes the Material & Value flows from E2E in terms of costs, service, flexibility and reliability.
- Drive continuous improvements and new approaches to target Excellence in term of value creation, efficiency, competitiveness, reliability, flexibility & agility and pro-activity.
Key tasks & responsibilities
- Develop and implement the strategy to centralize, manage and optimize the global Distribution Center (DC) network and corresponding material land value flows and transportation modes (sea-freight, airfreight and ground transportation) for ES including Tax, Regulatory and Trade compliance topics.
- Optimize warehousing and Logistic/ distribution activities for ES Globally to maximize customer experience and value creation.
- Develop and drive Governance of global flows through the development and implementation of a validation process for the design and approval of non-standardized modes of transportation such as airfreight.
- Supervision of logistical service providers based on local network and organization, in collaboration with the PRO Category manager for WH and Logistics and the local/regional networks.
- Lead the performance management of the logistical activities through the development and management of dashboard with key performance indicators and indexes for all service providers (3PL) in the field of warehousing, transportation and logistics.
- Support the PRO organization in the preparation for RFQ’s and RFI’s.
Qualifications & competencies
- Superior Degree on Business Administration ; MBA or master's in supply chain management.
- APICS certification is a plus.
- 5+ years cumulative experience in Logistics, Transport and Warehousing and 3PL management with a good understanding of supply chain management.
- Key competencies | Drives Results, Strategic Thinking, Customer Focus, Value Creation.
- Excellent multicultural management and communication, organization, influencing & coaching skills.
- Fluent in English other languages is a plus.
