Financial Controller - Digital marketing - German / English (m/f/d), Düsseldorf / Essen

Key responsibilities - What we expect from you

As part of the management committee and in charge of the finance activities of the site, implement new control measures and contribute to group-wide finance projects.

• Represent the finance department to internal and external stakeholders
• Prepare annual business plan, budget and quarterly forecast
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators
• Continuously improve financial operations and processes
• Establish local income tax accounts and global tax accounting processes
• Consolidate results for FR GAAP and management reporting purposes
• Forecast and follow-up of treasury
• Develop and implement reporting tools for business planning

Required experience and background

• Degree in finance, accounting, controlling or audit
• 4-5 years of professional experience
• Proven knowledge of best practice accounting standards, tax principles, laws and regulations (HGB)
• Team leader with a sense of relationship and excellent communication skills
• Experience in business partnering with solid commercial acumen
• IT savvy, diligent, hands-on
• Fluent in German and English, French is a plus
