Your new role
- In your new challenging role as a Data Architect, you design and implement data architectures for rail automation IoT data.
- You are responsible for evaluating the legacy data systems and identify new solutions to increase efficiency and performance.
- You define the overall database structure, including recovery, security, backup, and capability specifications.
- You create and propose solutions and present it to the stakeholders.
- You design conceptual and logical data models and flowcharts.
- You are responsible for implementing the database and data model solutions including documentation.
- You work closely together with Data Scientists, Cloud Architects and Frontend Engineers to identify the needs and requirements.
Your qualifications
- You have a successfully completed university degree in Computer Science / Engineering, electrical engineering or comparable.
- You have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- You have a deep understanding of database technologies, data modeling techniques and design patterns.
- You are familiar with scripting languages e.g. SQL, Python.
- You are able to deal with very large datasets and streaming data.
- You have excellent organizational and analytical abilities.
- You are an outstanding problem solver.
- You are fluent in English; German language skills are a plus.
