Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Creating and curating data visualizations using Spotfire;
  • Managing the data pipelines connecting internal / external systems to the data model;
  • Support the BI application development process with a global team of scientists and engineers;
  • Develop code to support data ETL and automation tasks;
  • Write SQL views and tables;
  • Write code for unique analytical presentations;
  • Support 3rd party software integrations for visualization;
  • Train end users on how to best utilize dashboards / data / reports;
  • Teach and empower end users to modify and create tailored solutions from templates you initiate;
  • Leverage a people network across multiple locations and countries to work both collaboratively and independently

Who you are

  • Data visualization skills including Spotfire, (Power BI, Tableau, Shiny, Dash beneficial);
  • Programming knowledge in analytics software such as Python, R;
  • Programming knowledge for SQLbased data access; V
  • ersion control using GitHub for software repository;
  • Agile task management experience beneficial;
  • Experience with cloud data infrastructure and APIs desired;
  • Ability to query public data sets using REST API s;
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Professional manner and a strong ethical code;
  • Business fluent English skills;
  • Ability to multitask and remain motivated and positive;
  • Commitment to working efficiently with considerable autonomy and focus on value for effort;
  • Ability to build positive working relationships with collaborators and team members
