Customer Support Consultant for the Investor Relations Operations Centre -Leipzig
Job description
Your role in our Investor Relations Operations Centre in Leipzig is very much based on team work with your colleagues in similar roles or other offices. You will be responsible for the support of the international Investor Relations client base (EMEA, US, Africa, Middle East) and work very closely with the Product Specialist team. For this purpose, a number of tools will be used in your daily workflow, allowing you to carry out support activities aimed at helping Investor Relations departments make the best use of our web application (which content includes: First Call real-time research, Ownership data, Contact Management System...). You will be in contact with our clients both orally and in writing, as well as interact with other teams within Thomson Reuters. You will need to be become an expert in Thomson ONE Investor Relations, have a working understanding of the related Corporate offerings, and learn specific processes to ensure consistent and efficient client service.
Your skills
You are a service-minded and client-focused experienced team player with a highly professional attitude towards your work. In order to effectively deal with the numerous requests on a day-to-day basis, you would need to meet the following qualifications:
- Master degree, preferably in Economics and/or Finance
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in at least English and French (further language skills, f. i. German, Spanish or Italian will be considered an advantage)
- At least 2 years of customer service experience, preferably with international clients and in an international context (consulting, support, project management or similar)
- Very good IT user skills and comfortable using business tools
- Reliable and professional, decisive, stress-resistant, comfortable speaking with clients at all levels, able to cope with heavy workload and quick to act
- Excellent teamwork skills
- Independent work attitude and common sense
- Able to multitask
- Eager to learn beyond the immediate remit
- Ready to work in shifts (from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm)
