Missions

Your main roles and responsibilities will include:

  • hazard identification for raw materials, cosmetic ingredients, substances and impurities including next generation risk assessment approaches such as read-across, in silico,…
  • risk assessment of cosmetic products based on all available data in close partnership with Research and Innovation labs,
  • definition, implementation and follow-up of in vitro and/or clinical testing program when necessary,
  • safety reports elaboration for natural cosmetics.

You are ready to participate to a collective adventure within a modern and agile organization, to face both exciting scientific and human. Located in Salzhemmendorf, Germany (an hour-drive from Hannover), in close collaboration with local natural cosmetics development teams and with your Safety colleagues from France, Americas and APAC, as well as regulatory and claim substantiation teams, you will take care of the safety assessment of cosmetic products developed by the Research and Innovation organization.

Profile

  • PhD and/or Master degree in Sciences (toxicology, chemistry, biology…) and/or Pharmacist
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a safety assessor, ideally in industry (food, chemicals, biocides...),
  • Knowledge in the safety evaluation of complex mixtures and/or botanicals would be appreciated
  • Fluency in English and German is a must. Good command of French would be appreciated.
