Missions
- In your role you support all group pension asset and risk management activities as well regional investment and risk management activities (including Germany) for the regional trusts, together with our Regional Pension Managers.
- You execute a worldwide performance and risk analysis (e.g. Value-at-Risk) and report regularly the worldwide asset performance and risk analysis to SE management.
- You implement and review regularly, together with your colleagues, an optimal, liability-driven asset strategy and allocation (LDI = liability-driven investment approach).
- In addition, you conduct asset managers selection, monitoring and review processes.
- You will take over activities in the process for the determination of the global IAS 19 discount rates (substantial impact on SE’s balance sheet) and reviewing regularly the market and developments.
- You will be part of the process to manage investment consultants, global custodian and Master KVG and also pro-actively manage local stakeholder and trustees.
- In addition to DB plans, you structure an efficient governance and monitoring process together with the regional pension managers for SE’s DC plans.
- Last but not least, you pro-actively drive /disseminate respective knowledge within the SE Finance and support external reporting requirements.
Profile
- The foundation of your career is a successfully completed university master degree with a specialization in Finance, ideally specialization in finance-related qualifications.
- You score with first years of experience in finance/investment area, ideally in pension asset & risk management.
- Furthermore, you are highly interested in financial markets and macroeconomics and ideally familiar with software like Bloomberg and/or Datastream.
- You enjoy to communicate with internal and external stakeholders, in particular, to explain complex pension issues clearly to non-specialists.
- That is why you score with a Business-fluent command of English and German.
- Personally, you bring analytical skills and solution orientation.
