Your tasks and responsibilities
- As a Clinical Data Analyst and Consultant, you work on customer projects on the subject of information integration with the focus on data integration from clinical IT Systems (EMR, RIS, LIS,...) and workflow modelling
- You analyze the multi-modal clinical workflow and data in the context of different diseases
- You design the data integration flow including data mapping e.g. which data do we need to integrate, which correction rules have to be applied, which stages need to be defined
- You support sales cycle by helping to establish customer value propositions and design of the clinical solution that will drive those value propositions
- You serve as the clinical trusted advisor for our customers during implementation and post go live
- You identify areas of clinical consulting opportunities and value add services
- You observe, understand and document complex workflows and their underlying information drivers and thereafter consult with physicians, IT admins and ancillary staff on how those workflows could be optimized
Your qualifications and experience
- You hold a university degree in medical computing with a focus on imaging, biomedical engineering, electrical engineering, health informatics, information systems (or demonstrable equivalent experience)
- You have many years of relevant professional experience in data analysis and integration in a clinical environment
- You have an excellent knowledge of clinical workflows, language and electronical health records
- You have a good understanding of general medical terminology
- You have in-depth knowledge of Healthcare IT standards (DICOM, HL7, FHIR) as well as clinical terminologies (SNOMED, LOINC, ICD)
- You have experience and know how in working and implementing relational databases (SQL Server preferred)
Your attributes and skills
- Very good command of English, both spoken and written is required; additional language skills such as German are welcome
- You have good problem solving and communication skills, customer orientation, target orientation and analytical abilities, as well as a structured work ethic
- You have demonstrated the ability to interact with interdisciplinary & international teams and are willing to travel internationally on business trips (approx. 50%)
