Your tasks and responsibilities

• You are responsible for the design, development and maintenance of designated imaging technologies within the scope of the software development process
• Furthermore, you advance the pre-development and product development of MR applications e.g. pulse sequences, image reconstruction and image processing modules
• In the product development phase and in the optimization and evaluation of new methodologies you work closely with internal and external collaboration partners as well as international clinical and non-clinical scientists
• Additionally, you create and present independently talks e.g. for internal training events aimed at application specialists
• You incorporate autonomously new solutions and customer feedback into future product specification sheets

Your qualifications and experience

• You have successfully completed a university degree in physics, biomedical engineering or electrical engineering in combination with a doctorate in this field
• Besides you have many years of professional experience with MR imaging techniques as well as detailed knowledge in MR physics and very good knowledge of digital image processing
• You provide extensive programming experience with C ++ and in MR sequence programming (ideally with the Siemens MR-IDEA and MR-ICE platforms)
