Missisons

• Coach and guide Program Quality Leaders in the CVI Europe programs
• Ensure capitalization of experience from previous programs
• Ensure that best practices are shared with other regions about Program Management System (PMS) deliverables, Engineering Change Requests (ECRs), product quality issues, lessons learned etc.
• Arbitrate issues between global and local content about Design Validation Plan and specifications for Measurement devices
• Report program quality status to the TCS Director and other involved functions
• If required, substitute for a Program Quality Leader (PQL) if mandatory deliverables in a program are missing
• Represent the Customer Voice within the company and ensure leadership when needed with the customer and internally with the others functions on quality matters.
• Focus on specific critical items managed by other Program Core Team functions in order to ensure a successful launch and customer satisfaction (FMEA and Control Plan, Risk Assessment etc.)
• Ensure that APQP is deployed and used for all Bought out parts following Faurecia Purchasing requirements
• Consolidate at division level the APQP progress with the status report and make decisions in collaboration with the program team.
• Manage suppliers considered as “at risk” in the programs
• Ensure that suppliers processes are in line with Faurecia expectations (control plan and Quality basics implementation, Trial Run @ Rate & process Audit)
• Ensure that programs have a progress/convergence plan for low performance suppliers
• Drive a strong transformation of the quality function towards preventive quality management
• Foster passion for Quality within Operations, Engineering and other key functions

S/He will have to work closely with the other Function Leaders (Engineering, Operations, Program Management, Purchasing, Supplier Quality etc.) to ensure full alignment and enable successful execution of the programs and launches.

Qualifications

Minimum education level: Bachalor’s or Master’s degree in in Engineering or related field

Experience:

• Degree qualified in a technical discipline; An advanced degree, will be well regarded.
• Minimum 8-10 years professional/technical experience in industrial environment with high quality standards
• Track record of success in quality and operations environment
• Automotive experience with quality systems and standards preferred

• Practitioner for core Quality tools: Functional analysis, FMEA, Special Characteristics, APQP & PPAP validation, Supplier audit etc.

• Good knowledge about Faurecia Excellence System and Program Management System
• Ability to partner effectively functionally across functions within a matrix organization
• Ability to coach/train other people
• Customer centric acumen
• Willingness and ability to travel regularly
• English Language fluency required
