4PL Manager - Industrial (H/F), Paris

Missions

• First line manager of the delivery of the expected high levels of performance measured through contractual KPI’s
• Searches, identify, seek approval from steering board to implement and drive new projects to completion with gain share potential to drive net operating profit and cost savings for the customer.
• Manage customer’s expectations vs ressources, capability and planning of the dedicated team
• Manage Monthly business reviews and reports to quarterly steering committee
• Lead a team of 2 directly and indirectly the operational team dedicated to the customer.
• Review customer processes at origin and destination, and initiate updates of Service Level Agreements, Standard Operating Procedures, etc. , and keep them up to date
• Act as a single point of contact for all customer issues regarding noncompliance with Service Level Agreements and Standard Operating Procedures
• Undertakes corrective action plans and ensures adequate and timely results of corrective actions, with the support of the Continuous Improvement Manager
• You will be a result driven individual, with a track record of leading successful change within internal and external operations. You should have a strong work ethic, are able to work across functions with ease and have the proven abikity to lead on multiple projects. As no day will be the same, it is essential that you are able to work with unpredictability and use initiative and focus to deliver results.​​

Profile

• Formal education in logistics with a deep understanding of the forwarding business
• Experience in Industrial sector and Management experience of at least 8 years
• Experience in lean management e.g. 6 sigma, operations and 3PL suppliers management
• Deep understanding of manufacturing, warehousing and transportation operations
• Demonstrate operational credibility at shop floor level as well as managing customer relationship at C-level
• Strong experience in Road transport mandatory ( ops, network engineering ), Express, Parcel, Airfreight seafreight a +
• Benchmark / RFQ experience
• Proven skills of developing people
