V.I.E. System Engineer Environment Control Systems (f/m), Hamburg

Tasks

The jobholder is responsible for designing and developping parts of a Virtual Functional Integration Bench for Environmental Control Systems (airconditioning system, ventilation system or cabin pressure system etc.) to improve key system simulation and system testing processes:

• generation or modification of functional simulation tools
• Building-up or modification of the VIBE (Virtual Integration Bench for Engineers) to automate simulation integration and to check
• consistency with Aircraft data and architecture
• Import and Export data from or to other test benches
• creation of test scripts to perform functional system test
• supporting system engineers in the usage of the VIBE platform

Your skills

• Bachelor/Master in Aeronautical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• knowledge in Aeronautical System Engineering
• high capacity to structure abstract concepts and processes
• knowledge in simulation tools like Matlab or Simulink
• knowledge in C-programming, compiling and testing is a plus
• UNIX/LINUX knowledge is a plus
• good communication and negociation skills
• English fluent is mandatory
• German appreciated
• previous experience in working abroad (internships, working students jobs, student exchange program) appreciated
