V.I.E. Software test engineer, Munich

Tasks

• Within the team responsible for the Development and Verification of the real-time embedded SW running in the Basic Avionic System of the Tiger Helicopter, the successful candidate will:
• Prepare the test environment for target computer test in the Software Test Bench
• Design the test scenario and implement the test procedures
• Follow up performance of the tests, analysis of test results and investigation of problems
• Develop and maintain the tools supporting the test activities
• Make proposals for improvement and implementation of the correcting
• Coordinate with the teams in charge of the specification and the development of the software

Skills

• Master degree in engineering, IT or equivalent
• Basic knowledge of avionic systems
• Knowledge of Software (Real time SW, embedded SW, programming languages: Ada, C, C++, Java, Perl)
• International experience of at least 6 months is essential (for studies or work)
• Fluency in English is essential, German and/or other language skills will be considered as an advantage
• Able to work as a member of a team
• Good communication skills
