And therefore we are looking for an Investment strategy specialist in the division of Investments and Asset Liability Management with the base of operations in Cologne, Germany.

Scope of functions

As a specialist for planning investments in the Investment Strategy department you bear responsibility for the following tasks:

• Planning capital investments of an insurance company within the regular planning and budgeting process
• Reconciliation of capital investment planning and liquidity planning
• Implementation of capital investment planning after consultation with AXA Investment Managers, division manager and the head of the department
• First point of contact for questions pertaining to the capital investment strategy of the company
• Dialogue with Asset Management Companies and Investment banks
• Development of capital investment strategies to improve risk/return positioning of portfolios
• Management of innovative capital investment transations

Job specifications

• Advanced degree in economics and business administration with focus on capital markets and finance
• Competent knowledge of capital markets and capital market instruments
• Good economics know-how
• HGB and IFRS accounting knowledge
• Good knowledge of English language
