Your assignments

The Role:

• This role is integrated within the Global Alliance Management (GAM) department of the Business Unit Generics, and encompasses contracts administration and management tasks, reporting into a legal professional.
• The Trainee Contracts Management will be in charge of updating and improving a contracts database, the administration of the departments’ contracts and contractual documents such as templates, and the drafting and review of simple agreements.

Main Tasks:

• Update data in a contracts database according to newly implemented processes
• Identify improvement opportunities in the contracts lifecycle management and the existing database and, if approved, implement those improvements
• Follow-up of critical contract lifecycle management tasks (for example termination or renewals of contracts)
• Draft and review simple agreements such as Confidential Disclosure Agreements (CDAs) with the support of a legal professional
• Carry out contracts’ related administrative tasks such as drafting letters, collecting signatures and filing documents in accordance with the applicable company policies

Your profile

Education & Languages:

• Bachelor’s degree in law or business administration
• Strong competence using Microsoft Office software
• Proficiency in English essential both oral and written
• French & German would be an asset

Skills & Competencies:

• Candidates must show an interest in contracts management and feel comfortable with English legal language
• Detail orientation and precision in collecting and updating contracts related data is a must-have
