Your Role and Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate technical activities during the development of new products either with external development organizations or GIDC (and sometimes both).

• Bring an aligned technical strategy and integrated project plan to the Project Core Team for the New Product Developments.
• Contribute to the definition of the Target Product Profile (TPP), in partnership with the innovation General Managers, and Megabrand Development leaders when needed
• Lead development of detailed technical milestones and timelines that deliver high quality NPD projects aligned with consumer expectations and insights. Lead development of technical risk assessment for NPD projects, and creation of mitigation plans. Provide leadership and oversight of tactical execution (time, cost, quality), escalating any issues or deviations
• Estimate and manage development site budget for assigned NPD projects. This includes both internal FTE as well as external spend requirements in collaboration with the technical team and in accordance with the project core project team.
• Lead technical Due Diligence for off-the-shelf solutions or in-licensing options.
• Lead the technical development team (formulation, packaging, analytical, process dev and CMC) behind the project and ensure all technical activities fulfil the Target Product Profile and project plan including target cogs and country regulatory requirements. Monitor project progress and ensure reporting on technical development activities to key stakeholders
• Effectively leverage external partnership and expert network for external developments or new technologies.

Your Profile

• Qualifications: Relevant science degree
• Work experience: 5 years or more in the pharmaceutical, health care or consumer products industry.
• A proven track-record of delivering consumer inspired, science based and new to category innovation in the Consumer Health or Consumer Goods Industry from Ideation to launch.
• A proven track-record of executing New Product Development.
• A proven track record of successfully leading project and teams.
• Strong scientific and business acumen.
• Knowledge of the Regulatory environment and laws and regulations affecting the Global Consumer Health Industry.
• Fluency in English is required.
