Job description
The Service Center Berlin is one of the three Mercedes-Benz Bank locations in Germany, together with headquarters in Stuttgart and the Service Center for private customers in Saarbruecken. Located in the centre of Berlin nearby Alexanderplatz, the new MB Bank Service Center is responsible for all captive financial services products for commercial customers. This includes vehicle financing and leasing services as well as vehicle insurances. We are progressively integrating internal European functions and therefore creating new positions in our center in the heart of Berlin. We are looking forward to receiving your application in English.
Your tasks will be:
- You will ensure that the resources are optimally planned. You will support your Team leader by implementing management activities. This includes substitution of your Team leader when applicable.
- Rensponsiblility for transfering mentorship and employee development to the respective team through coaching and feedback sessions.
- Control and authority over implementation of the management activities, including but not limited to: performance appraisals, productivity monitoring and development discussions.
- Duty of co-planning daily activities of your team, scheduling and goal/performance operational objectives of the team specific to a given functional area. This includes also co-providing reward and recognition to employees.
- Enable implementation of business metrics for your team as well as cooperate in developing new strategies to improve operational performance.
- Your area of responsibility includes also:
- Maintenance of professional and supportive role with colleagues both within the Collections Department and outside to ensure an optimal customer experience.
- Induction of new employees and hand over of coaching duties.
- Support at the continuous process optimization.
- Provide needed support as a contact person regarding Power Dialer field.
Qualification
- Completed technical education (Commercial education / Business Administration)
- Several years of professional experience in Collections management
- French language skills native speaker level
- English language skills advanced level
- Technical understanding and good knowledge of Excel and Power Point
- Legal knowledge, knowledge of Statistics
- Social competencies
