Your contribution
- Upgrade and ensure state-of-the-art recycling technologies in all RKW sites, develop concepts for increased in-house recycling and set realizable standards
- Map internal and external recycled material streams and constantly seek new opportunities to increase the use of recycled materials in our products
- Derive corporate initiatives from industry and customer requirements and coordinate the respective cross-plant and cross-segment projects
- Promote the approval of new recycled materials and their suppliers with the aim of contracting high quality resources with a stable supply base
- Close cooperation with the sites and adjoining departments like Purchasing, Quality, R&D and Application Engineering as well as commitment to Group Sustainability targets
Your strengths
- You hold a Master degree in plastic engineering or in a similar engineering field of study
- You have at least 5 years of experience related to plastic production or plastic recycling in an international environment
- You have solid materials and machinery know-how in the area of polyolefins, extrusion and mechanical recycling of polyolefins as well as knowledge in plastic properties and their related recycling streams
- You enjoy technical and analytical work and you are experienced in project management
- You are business fluent in German and English, good command of French language desired
- You are willing to travel worldwide up to 30% (as soon as COVID-19 allows travelling)
