Solution Architect for Skywise (m/f), Toulouse

Your main tasks and responsibilities

• Analyzing and understanding business processes and their new challenges
• Designing functional & technical solution architecture using best of the art combination of technologies and in line with Airbus information technology strategy (Security, Digitalization, Cloud, DevOps..)
• Participating in all phases of the application development lifecycle
• Being well aware of new technologies (Cloud AWS, Big Data, API, Mobile Apps, DevOps, CI/CD etc…)
• Contributing to the overall company target to manage Data as an Asset
• Managing or validating Data Architects actions related to security and risks
• Being the link between IT governance, innovative solutions & new initiatives (inside/outside airbus): technologies trends monitoring & sharing knowledge with the team (Information & Knowledge management).

This role will involve some travel for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth.
Required skills

Profile

• Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in Information Technology or a related discipline
• Strong Solution Architect experience (functional/business process & technical)
• Previous experience with Amazon Web Service hosting architecture, Cloud, API and BigData
• Project management experience (definition and implementation and/or data and architecture set up),
• Risk base approach, creative and Innovative thinking
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to synthetize complex information and present them
• Ability to challenge and to communicate at top management level
• Team Player and collaborative mind-set,
• Language skills: Advanced level in French and negotiation level in English.
