Tasks & Responsibilities
- You service as a liaison between finance, business units, and technical teams, gather requirements, communicate updates, and manage expectations across departments.
- You support and improve the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, perform financial analyses and variance explanations, presenting insights to management, collaboration with neighboring teams on budget planning and cross-departmental financial projects; collaborate with BI to integrate and optimize database solutions for financial planning and reporting.
- You lead initiatives to enhance tools, processes, and data utilization in the finance domain; develop and implement automated reporting solutions using SQL / Python / Excel or other techniques; propose process improvements based on analysis of existing workflows and data handling practices.
- You build and maintain robust financial models to support business decisions; manage and analyze data using SQL (Python); back-up for Business-cases calculation; stay updated on new tools and technologies to enhance team capabilities
Profile
- Expert (several years’ experience) with focus on financial planning, modelling, consolidation, stakeholders’ management, project management
- Proficiency in SQL, advanced Excel skills, as a plus experience with data analysis, modelling, and reporting automation tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Knime, etc.)
- Understanding of budgeting and financial modelling
- Familiar with financial closing processes and business case analysis
- Excellent communication and stakeholders’ management skills
- Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to process improvements
- Fluent in English
