Missions

The Client Manager’s primary responsibility is to build and preserve trusting relationships with Market & Financing Services (MFS) clients, accompany them in their development on a day-to-day basis:

• Monitoring service delivery
• Conducting formal client reviews
• Anticipating clients expectations and providing them diligent and relevant responses to questions
• Defining and implementing strategies to maintain and grow revenues generated from each client
• Escalating and resolving areas of concern as raised by MFS clients
• Assist in the negotiating of lending mandates (renewal/updates/ amendments) and the management of exclusive auctions
• Supporting the product development/structuring team in defining the value proposition of MFS products/services
• Drafting market commentaries, clients newsletters both specific to individual clients and to the generic market
• Providing assistance to the MFS Business support team in the on-boarding of new clients and the set-up of trading relationships with the borrowers
• Performing market analysis to be shared with the MFS Business Development & Solutions team

Profile

• 3-5 years of experience in financial markets
• Solid experience in custody operations and good knowledge of the German fund market, ideally with some securities lending knowledge
• Previous experience working as a client Relationship Manager or a track record of managing client relationships
• Excellent organisation skills
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build close relationships with clients
• Client oriented way of working
• Ability to work autonomous as other team members are located across global territories, including the UK, Lisbon, Sydney and Paris
• Business fluent in English and German; spoken & written
