Sales & Marketing Manager (f/m) aerospace industry, Cologne

Our client is one of the leading global companies based close to Cologne in the area of data acquisition used in the global aerospace industry as well as in automotive and general industry applications.

Now he is looking for a  Sales & Marketing Manager (f/m) with at least 7 years of sales experience in comparable industries as a member of the company's management team.

Profile

• Planning and managing all business development activities on strategic and operational levels
• Master's degree or equivalent in electronics or aeronautics 
• Consultative selling abilities and excellent interpersonal skills 
• Well understanding of flight test applications
• Proven sales track record in a new product / new market environments and for dealing with international customers and partners
• Possessing excellent communications skills in English, both in writing and verbally. 
• Ability to work collaboratively with all colleagues, team oriented environment.

Tasks

• Inspiring, motivating, leading and coaching the channel sales and support team. 
• Developing international sales channel network including global key accounts. 
• Expanding the company's customer base by driving the development of new markets 
• Set profit targets, set appropriate metrics and define strategies to achieve these targets 
• Forecasting and control of sales, growth and revenue 
• Develop marketing strategies and coordinate actions to influence the market
• Support marketing activities, including trade/ scientific shows, mailings, etc. 
• Providing customer insight for product development and improvement efforts.
