Your challenge in detail

• In your role, you plan, implement and evaluate the reliability of the electrical, mechanical and electromechanical components of our medical devices.
• You expertly select and validate suitable test methods and calculate the sample size that is required for sound reliability and stability planning.
• According to the risk countermeasures and DFMEA, you then conduct the selected tests, such as HALT, ALT, HASS or demonstration, growth and chemical resistance tests.
• Using precisely selected statistical methods, you analyse the test results and make a well-founded statement about the service life of the components.
• You are also adept at creating test requirements and plans for newly developed products or components and support the requirement engineering team as a specialist.
• Your assessments are not only included in summary reports, but also form the basis of design reviews.
• Beyond that, your trained eye for details is needed when it comes to analysing and eliminating quality problems in production.
• In addition, you bring your know-how into the continuous development of our strategies and methods of reliability testing – thanks to you, we look confidently into the future.
• In general, you work closely in your position with the national and international departments involved and expertly coach our external suppliers.
• Finally, you make sure that Fresenius' standard procedures and specifications of the medical industry are always complied with.

Your desired competences

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or Reliability Technology – alternatively a comparable degree
• Several years of professional experience in the verification of mechanical, electrical and electromechanical components, preferably with a focus on reliability
• Experience in project work and in dealing with quality management systems for the automotive, aerospace or space industry, or comparable industry standards
• Familiar with the analysis and correction of errors in reliability programs
• Expertise in the field of process engineering
• Sound knowledge of test design and common test standards and methods as well as test planning
• Experienced in dealing with MS Office and reliability software like Minitab or ReliaSoft
• Good command of German and English, both written and spoken
• Independent, practice-oriented and proactive way of working and the ability to quickly identify and solve problems
