Project Developer (m/f/d) for Hybrid Energy Systems, Berlin

Tasks

• You are responsible for the technical delivery of our solutions. You define and validate the technical solutions and do technical execution planning together with the customer
• Design all technical documentation for the customer
• Write technical documentation and project specifications for our technology partners
• Integrate the deliverables of the technology partners to deliver the committed customer solution
• Lead Factory Acceptance Tests and Site Acceptance Tests where appropriate
• Act as the technical lead in all client discussions and meetings, inform on deviations, and suggest optimisations.
• Support the Business Development department in preparing proposals, in particular with preparing technical methodologies, bill of materials, budgets, and technical drawings.
• Develop and establish robust processes, standards and best practices for project components, sizing and assure high quality simulation results

Requirements

• A Master’s degree in electrical engineering or similar is required. Specific education in renewable energies, sustainable energy will be an advantage
• Minimum 6 years of experience in electrical engineering is required. Additionally, you bring at least 3 years of experience from the solar PV industry.
• You possess knowledge of renewable energy systems & energy storage, as well as electrical power systems and energy markets. Experience with low and medium voltage distribution lines is desirable.
• Excellent command of Microsoft Word, Excel and AutoCAD. Experience with simulation software i.e. HOMER, PV SYST is desirable
• A high degree of analytical skills as well as the ability to efficiently design and implement processes
• Ability and proven experience to think creatively, learn quickly and develop innovative solutions involving electrical and mechanical challenges
• As we’re a volume driven business, it’s essential to be process driven and have a highly organized way of working, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks in parallel
• You are a team player and have the ability to drive results under own initiative in an agile and fast paced start-up environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and strong interpersonal skills are required
• Fluent in English and German (written and spoken) – French, as well as any language of West/East Africa is considered a plus.
• Additionally, we also consider previous leadership experience in any capacity a plus
