Program & Bid Manager (m|f)

Responsibilities

• Responsible for European bids & programs for Thales Maritime Safety and Security International (TMSS), especially the Seasame initiative
• Capture business and win bids in Europe with the aim of maximizing order intakes and related margins
• Coordinate transversally all TMSS bids implemented in Thales Divisions
• Lead and implement roadmap/product policy for the Seasame Project
• Develop and master TMSS solutions for the European administrations (DGs, EMSA, EDA, EUMC, FRONTEX, NATO, etc.) and their programs
• Workshares with European partners, in close coordination with Naval TMSS
• International Director for Europe and European countries, also in charge of Seasame Strategy & Business Development
• Technical solutions, in close coordination with the TMSS International Solutions & System Development Manager
• Set up the adequate internal organization and coordination for the management of the programs won
• Deliver customer satisfaction for Quality and Sales and an aim-oriented return on sales on these programs, in close cooperation with the TMSS International Operations Manager

Qualifications

• Grad. engineer in the field of electrotechnology, communications technology, computer science or grad. economy engineer with a rather technical than economical orientation
• 3 to 5 years experience in a leading position in the selling or project management with customer contact
• Experienced in the guidance of the bid-process and in the design of contracts in an international context
• Experience in the Security/Maritime Business, and/or with public clients, is favorable
• Efficient manager, decision-strong and cost-conscious, with high self motivation
• Process- and customer-oriented, intercultural experience
• Fluent in English; knowledge of French is an advantage
