Tasks
The key responsibilities of the position are as follows:
- Procurement Business Improvement Project manager - System & Equipment Lead Key Users
- You will realize the analyse and the benchmark of the supply chain current processes & tools and define new processes or process improvements (Business Process Reengineering), on Procurement domains request,
- You will manage software and tools business improvement demands.
- Assess Needs and requirements (Collect needs from business mainly from the System & equipment key users ( Astrium Satellites, ST & Services)
- Preliminary/opportunity studies, use cases, ROI
- "High level functional specifications"
- Manage interface with Supply Chain Solution (IT Procurement Project management )
- Communication
- Inform Key users about other relevant changes.
You will lead improvement projects as needed,
You will report to Supply Chain Business Improvement team leader (weekly), and you will help the Supply Chain Business Improvement team leader to set up & follow the Procurement Tools Architecture & associated IT roadmap.
The major problems to be solved in the position are the following: Overcome national approaches, legacy processes, methods and tools as well as cultural discrepancies:
- You will have to bring together, harmonise and improve information systems and associated practices, of the different Procurement entities and beyond against some (natural because human) resistance against change.
- You will manage Processes & Tools in the frame of the Corporate Astrium Procurement organisation set up by running a multicultural team located in 3 different countries and 14 different sites in lease with Procurement , Astrium & EADS improvement initiatives.
You will have to provide quick returns in a very stringent context, ensure timely availability of all services, tools, corresponding trainings, etc. to all Procurement functions to secure the capability to achieve required performance and cost reduction targets; and avoid procurement domains duplicate processes and tools resources at their level.
You will have to build up something new: Build up and manage the Processes & Tools team in the frame of the Corporate Astrium Procurement organisation set up by running a multicultural team located in 3 different countries and 14 different sites in lease with Astrium & EADS improvement initiatives.
Profile
- With a Master degree in Information Systems and/or Manufacturing, you will have at least one experience of notion in Procurement (Sourcing / Procurement / Purchasing) with at least one experience in a project management. A previous experience in Supply Management would be required.
- A minimum of 2 year's experience in Project management tools management/development, preferably in the context of procurement activities.
- You are recognized for your sense of Organisation and you structure. You are highly interested by tools (Confortable with professional tools, eager to learn how to use new ones, etc.)
- You are able to work in an international project team; you are autonomous in your way of working with good interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work transnationally.
- An excellent command of French and English will be required (written and verbal), notion of German would be a plus.
