Mechanical / construction engineer (m/f), Nigeria

Our client is a German construction company, which develops huge construction projects on its site in Nigeria. To support the expansion of our client, we are currently looking for a:

Mechanical / construction engineer (m/f)

You will initially be employed in our machinery department in Wiesbaden which will serve as preparation for an assignment of several years to Nigeria.

Tasks

• Advising the building sites/repair centres of the affiliated company in Nigeria and providing them with technical support
• Giving specialist assistance to the works scheduling, quantity surveying and purchasing departments
• Selecting and configuring construction equipment
• Comparing equipment and processing quotes for comparison
• Advising on machines supply and helping select suppliers

Requirements

• Academic degree in mechanical/ construction engineering
• Several years' experience in a similar position
• English must be fluent, German would be appreciated
• Proficiency in common Microsoft Office applications
• Have a confident manner, good teamwork skills and be able to work under pressure
• Show initiative and willingness to work hard
