Your tasks

You will be responsible for

Sourcing:

• Monitor the market in order to detect technological, competitive and economic developments
• Negotiation and contracting
• Manage and coordinate purchases from strategic suppliers
• Negotiate market and service conditions at the best overall cost, quality and delivery time
• Set up and negotiate framework contracts
• Drive cost reduction initiatives

Supplier Management:

• Consolidation of global requirements
• Conduct global business reviews
• Evaluate the business risk of the suppliers in its panel, and propose action plans to minimize the risks / Build Resilience
• Ensure the availability of services/products necessary for the proper functioning of the plants Risk mitigation
• Anticipate and unblock crisis situations

Risk Management:

• Report and alert on business difficulties and risk areas, propose solutions
• Ensures compliance with the purchasing process
• Reporting and presentation of ongoing projects
• Special projects for MedTech

Your profile

• Academic degree (business administration, industrial / technical engineering, etc.) with a focus on procurement or comparable qualification
• At least 5 years experience in global purchasing, experience with medical devices is an advantage
• Very good negotiation skills
• Knowledge of specific product groups, such as electronic-mechanical components, is an advantage
• Fluency in spoken and written English and German, additional French language skills are an advantage
