Our client is a privately owned corporate group with a global presence. It is producer and service provider that offers a wide range of technologically advanced solutions in different sectors: aerospace, software, telecommunications, banking and insurance, defence and security.

For our client we are looking for a

Key Account Manager Aerospace /Spacecraft Operations Manager (m/f), Darmstadt

Roles and Responsibilities

• Day to Day customer relationships: develope and maintain relationships with key staff in ESOC and Eumetsat
• Business Development: identify new opportunities and lead business development as well as pre-sales activities in ESOC and Eumetsat
• Sales: lead bids and proposals preparation for ESOC and Eumetsat, in particular for consultancy/ operations positions and lead the identification and hiring of potential candidates in close cooperation with the HR-Department/s.
• Project Management: Act as project manager for specific contracts (namely frame contracts)
• Operations supervision / oversight (ESOC, EUMESTAT)

Qualification / skills

• Minimal requirement: 4-5 year technical degree (engineering)
• An advanced degree in a related field is desirable
• At least 10-15 years experience in the space industry and business development
• > 5 years project management and operations experience
• Experience with ESOC, Eumetsat
• Experience with DLS (GSOC) is a valuable asset
• Fluenct proficiency in German and English, preferably an additional foreign language (Spanish is a nice to have)
