Mission of Function
The application manager is responsible for implementing software applications in an organization and also to carry out the work of upgrading the systems. In addition, he is also responsible for steering the services provide to the Business and ensuring compliance of both systems and operations.

Area of Responsibilities and Tasks
- Application Scope: Front End (Sielink), Decisionning (Transact)
IT Operations
- Managing the performance of daily IT operations
- Ensuring application support level 1 as part of the Service Desk (solve operational incident, provide user support)
- Ensuring the application consistency in term of engine and security by monitoring and applying the relevant updates
Managing the execution of the corrective maintenance or evolutionary maintenance required (by the IT or the Business), including:
- Documentation of the Change Request and associated technical specification
- Performance of the IT integration testing
- Release into production
- Ensuring that the IT relevant documentation is up to date
- Ensuring application support, mentoring and training on the application
Management and coordination
- Monitoring the relevant SLAs (with the business and with the Third Party)
- Ensuring the implementation of the Compliance regulation and others relevant and applicable IT Guidelines (e.g.: performance and management of the ITGC)
- Being the interface to the Business (in front of the Application Owner), provide support with project and request qualification and documentation
- Ensuring the coordination of the delivery units (Third Party or internal infrastructure provider)
- Managing escalation in case of critical incident
- Performing and coordinating Change Request or Small Project using the Siemens Standards
In addition to the previous
- Application Scope: Contract Management System (Cassiopae), Business Intelligence (Business Object)
- On behalf and under the control of the responsible Application Manager
IT Operations
- Ensuring application support level 1 as part of the Service Desk (solve operational incident, provide user support)
- Ensuring application mentoring and training on the application
Management and coordination:
- Being the interface to the Business (in front of the Application Owner), provide support with request qualification and documentation
- Performing and coordinating Change Request using the Siemens Standards
- Ensuring the coordination of the delivery units (Third Party or internal infrastructure provider)
Competencies / Techniques / Methodologies
- ITIL (focus on Service Operations and Transition)
- Overall web solution design (ASP based software, Web services, Web server)
- Database (Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle 10G)
- Business Application Cassiopae V3
- Banking knowledge lease services oriented
Competencies / Background
- IT Services oriented knowledge (at least 2 years within this context)
- Banking knowledge lease services oriented (at least 2 years within this context): Pricing Management, Request for Finance, Risk Management
