Visual Meta GmbH is an innovative e-commerce company based in the heart of Berlin, which has grown rapidly since being founded in 2009. Since 2011 our company has been taken over by the Axel Springer group.

We run shopping platforms named LadenZeile and ShopAlike worldwide, offering fashion, furniture and a variety of other products to our users. Our service is used by thousands of daily visitors and an ever-increasing number of partner shops.

Now we are looking for a motivated intern (m/f) who masters the French language fluently to support our Online Marketing team and promote the expansion of our shopping portal www.ShopAlike.fr from July.

Your profile

• University degree (business/management/marketing emphasis) or equivalent education
• Affinity for e-commerce and online marketing, ideally a good understanding of the French market
• Fluent in spoken and written French and good English skills
• Good analytical skills and generally tech-savvy, ideally first experience with AdWords
• Structured, comfortable with multitasking and independent working manner
• Team player, communicative and nice to work with

Your responsibilities

• Supporting the team with executing and implementing SEM campaigns
• Helping with creating and managing new campaigns for our AdWords search and display network accounts, as well as for our Bing ads and Facebook accounts
• Researching cost-efficient keywords and keyword analysis using established tools
• Structured A/B testing of advertisements
• Analyzing and monitoring our performances and working on the optimization of existing campaigns
• Continuous market and competitor monitoring
