Industrial Test Engineer (m/f/d) TestStand, Friedrichsdorf

The mission of the thermal systems business group is to develop and manufacture systems, modules and components to ensure thermal energy management of the power train and comfort for each passenger, during all phases of vehicle use. These systems help to significantly reduce fuel consumption, CO2 emissions and other pollutants and harmful particles from vehicles equipped with internal combustion engines. They also increase travel range and battery life for hybrid and electric vehicles. At the Front Office in Bietigheim-Bissingen we are supporting Sale- and Project activities and compose the interface between the customers Daimler and Valeo-internal departments at the development from Thermal Systems.

Missions

• Develop test systems (software & hardware) for End-Of-Line-tester (EOLT) and Functional tester for automotive cellular network devices (TCU= telematic control units)
• Create test concepts and evolve specifications to test systems
• Validate these testing concepts during different development phases before industrialization
• Follow up the implementation, qualification and start-up of new test stations
• Participate in design reviews, ensuring that products are adapted to the needs of testing process

Profile

• 3-5 years of experience in electronic products testing
• Good knowledge of national instrument test tools like TestStand and LabView/LabWindows CVI
• Prefered: Fundamental understanding of cellular network testing (4G, 5G)
