Missions

• Provide user experience and user interaction knowledge from automotive and othere more advanced markets to our teams
• Translate user experience wishes and mental ergonomics assumptions into tangible design, product and technology recommendations, taking into consideration boundary conditions from standards, cost and processes.
• Sufficiently master technologies fromoptics, haptics and kinematics and ergon
• Analyze UX specifications from OEMs and debate solutions wih the relevant OEM leadership, in order to achieve solutions optimized Faurecia
• Ability to design attractive representations of UX scenarios and solutions
• Designing user interaction elements in conjunction with neighboring design functions: shape, materials, decoration, kinematics, ergonomics etc.
• Identify best in class technologies and reference models of entire automotive and non-automotive market
• Contribute to the definition of innovation priorities and domains and facilitate their integration and application into our products
• Deploy competencies inside the company (training, guidelines, standards,…)
• Benchmark UX products and solutions and identify markets trends
• Identify best in class technologies and reference models or potential innovation and facilitate integration
• Drive srategic exchange with UX leaders from OEMs and beyond
• Promote Faurecia electronics competencies internally and externally

Profile

• Fairly senior designer with exterior experience (5+ years in the industry), being at ease in both hands-on and hands-off activities
• Self understanding as a design leader as opposed to a stylist (sic!)
• Ability to take on management tasks (project mgmt, people mgmt, customer mgmt, function mgmt)
• Ability to keep a big picture view of an activity, while at the same time being obsessed for details
• Genuine interest in technical aspects of our products
• Market knowledge
• Ideally well connected in the industry, knows key players at customers
• Obsession for details
• Willingness and ability to be on numerous projects at the same time
• Self-understanding as a great communicator: strong verbal & visual communication; story telling
• Languages: German + English
• Fast, attractive and compelling sketch abilities
• Alias skills, Photoshop etc fully mastered
• Self-understanding of a team player and of a leader
