We, Leatherman Europe GmbH, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Leatherman Tool Group in Portland, are now looking for a Digital Brand Specialist BeNeLux for our location in Ratingen, Germany. Leatherman is the world market leader in the Multipurpose Tools segment and a manufacturer of innovative, high-quality tools.

Your Role

The Digital Brand Specialist BeNeLux is responsible for all digital marketing activities on the BeNeLux market. This includes managing all website and online shop related duties for the new local leatherman.nl and Leatherman.be site like local activity planning, content creation, review management and localization of all online marketing activities for the BeNeLux market. The Digital Brand Specialist also takes care of managing all local social media channels and builds up local influencer and brand ambassador relations as well as other digital PR activities to push Leatherman’s brand awareness and reputation on the BeNeLux market.

The Digital Brand Specialist is part of the Leatherman Europe Marketing team.

Key Tasks

  • Leatherman’s local key contact and country expert for all digital marketing activities on the BeNeLux market.
  • Breakdown of global digital marketing initiatives and plan into a local digital marketing plan and activities for the BeNeLux market.
  • Localization of global website content which includes copy and translations.
  • Creation of additional local content for local website and social media channels.
  • Managing consumer reviews on the local BeNeLux websites.
  • Planning and set up of local online marketing activities (like google ads, affiliate promotions, email newsletters) for the BeNeLux websites.
  • Managing of existing and new local BeNeLux social media channels including set up of local editorial calendar, community management and all other local social media activities.
  • Build-up and manage a network of local brand ambassadors and influencers.
  • Run digital PR activities to further drive Leatherman’s awareness on the local market.
  • Localization of marketing material like product packaging, user manuals and other marketing assets.
  • Delivering local market and consumer insights to global and EU marketing team.

Qualifications

  • Dutch native speaker with excellent understanding of the local BeNeLux market, culture and consumers.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or 2-3 years of directly related digital marketing experience.
  • Strong digital marketing background with experience in website management, online marketing as well as social media management.
  • Passion for writing and a very good feel for Dutch language.
  • Good written and public speaking skills in French language are a plus.
  • Intermediate PC skills.
  • Possesses strong written and public speaking skills in English.
  • Highly motivated team player with a dynamic, self-starting attitude that likes working in an international and multicultural European team.
  • Ability to travel, up to 2-3 weeks per year.
