The main missions

• Evaluate technically and economically in-house production concepts and technical modifications, from the acquisition phase (RFQ) to serial production.
• Validate the technical assumptions (process, cycle time, Workcontent, Flowchart...) with the manufacturing team.
• Determine the production costs of raw materials produced in-house according data from GTS Material team, evaluate forecast margin.
• Evaluate materials and BOPs purchased externally in line with market reality, in collaboration with the Purchasing teams and set a target price during the development phase.
• Communicate costing assumptions and results to interface functions (Controlling, Program Manager, Purchasing, Sales).
• Ensure reliable data for Business Plan with the program controller.
• Monitor the evolution of production costs following internal or customer changes (ECR) in the development phase.
• Support the central costing team to retrieve input data from plant management controllers and ensure their accuracy for integration into costing databases.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in engineering, with a high interest for production and financial processes
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in industry
• Microsoft Office skilled, especially Excel
• Fluent English, another language would be appreciated
• Team Spirit, written and oral communication skills
• Ability to define priorities
• Fast learner; able to link technics and figures
